Mr. Chen! I am working my bottom off!
Just to illustrate what I noted below about harsh critiques (this one is actually just rude) - I just received this on a small lighting project about two seconds ago. I couldn't believe my eyes! I just want to disclose that I met requirements... not the minimum. And, yes, this did make me cry. Not because this means that I got a B on this assignment, but because he applied this lousy assignment to my life!

What a mister pain in the hinney. If he wanted you to go above, and beyond what he asked for he should have said so when he gave the stinking assignment. Tell him to say what you mean and mean what you say. And not to expect you to read his mind, or figure it out.
